Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it. (NIV)
Cain was the first individual ever naturally introduced to this world through two human folks. Adam was made specifically by God from soil. Eve was made from Adam. Both Adam or Eve were never actually BORN by human parents but they were created.when we come to Cain, we are discussing the first conceived child of humankind – the first result of humanity. Like his father Adam, he turned into an agriculturist and worked the soil.
Cain, the senior, was a rancher; Abel was a shepherd. The bible brings us from their introduction to the world to a later scene when both made offerings to the Lord. Cain offered a meal from his products of the soil, while Abel presented the meat of his sheep. Lord, rejected Cain’s offering and acknowledged Abel’s offering. No explanation behind this is given, and eras of devout endeavors to defend this occasion have been made by differentiating the plans of the contributors and the nature and nature of their gifts.
This record abandons us pondering precisely why God looked with support on Abel’s putting forth, yet dismisses Cain’s. This riddle is often a point of confusion for believers. In any case, verse 6 and 7 of Genesis 4 contain the hint to fathom the riddle. Cain was confronted with a decision. He could turn from his indignation, change his disposition and make things right with God, or he could deliberately provide for himself over to sin.
